Mr. Cheng currently holds 9 US patents , and was the designer of one of the top ten processors (Ubicom SX28) in 1998 in the Electronics Industry Yearbook. He is also the designer of the best selling (1980s) lowest cost micro-controller (MCU) (4-bit COP).
Mr. Cheng earned his MS in engineering management from Stanford University, MSEE from Cornell University and BSEE and BSCS from University of Wisconsin-Madison.
In addition, Mr. Cheng was the winner of Young Industrialist Awards of Hong Kong 2005
