Professors from Guojie Consultation and Development Academy visited Buildwin and Rongxin
AppoTech is honored to receive representatives from Guojie Senior Professor Science and Technology Consulting and Development Academy (hereafter “Guojie Academy”), who visited AppoTech on 20-22 September 2011.
A team of six representatives from Guojie Academy, including five retired professors, visited our Zhuhai design center (Buildwin International (Zhuhai) Limited), Shenzhen design center, Shenzhen sales office (Rongxin Semi-conductor (Shen zhen) Co. Ltd) and one of the testing subcontractors. The tour included company presentation, demonstration of IC design process and application design process by engineers, and discussion sessions. The professors have shared their valuable insights on semiconductor industry with the management team.
Guojie Academy is a civic non-government organization (NGO) founded in 2000. Guojie Academy has more than 400 experts and professors. They are mainly retired (or to be retired) senior professors (or research scientists) from Peking University, Tsinghua University, and other research academies (or institutes) in the universities around Beijing, in the Chinese Academy of Science, and in the national Ministries (or Committees) of Agriculture, Forestry, Metallurgy, Minerals, and Chemicals etc. Also, parts of them are retired (or to be retired) senior professional officers from the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China etc. There are 15 applied research departments in Guojie Academy, classified according to various specialized fields.
