AppoTech Launches Its Smallest Package MCU - APG020

Nov 18, 2011 - HONG KONG – AppoTech Ltd today proudly announced the launch of its smallest package MCU: APG020, which has only 6 pins in SOT-23 package. The footprint of the package is only 1/3 of conventional SSOP packaged MCU. With such a small size package and competitive cost, APG020 can realize innovative applications, such as machine-to-machine communications, lighting control, LED control, active RFID tags and Internet of Things (物联网) applications, the upcoming high potential industry.

Tiny package with powerful features
The core of APG020 is a highly efficient 8-bit RISC MCU. It has 4-pin GPIO which can act as high current sink/source for driving LED. APG020 is embedded with one 8/16-bit timer which supports timer, counter and PWM mode. These features facilitate different types of peripheral smart control.
