Hong Kong, December 2, 2008 - AppoTech, the fabless IC design house, warmly welcomed Mr Duncan Pescod, Permanent Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development (Communications and Technology) (PSCT) on December 2. Mr Pescod visited AppoTech's Hong Kong office in Hong Kong Science and Technology Park.

At the meeting with Mr Chuck Cheng, CEO and President of AppoTech, Mr Pescod was introduced the product lines of AppoTech, our chip design technology and awards. He was shown some applications using our chip. Mr Cheng also shared his views on IC design industry.
Mr Pescod was accompanied by representatives from Innovation Technology Commission (ITC). They are: Mr Eddy Chan, Commissioner for Innovation and Technology (CIT), Mr LEE Kin-wah, Augustine, Senior Manager of ITC, Ms Winnie To, Manager (Infrastructure) of ITC, and Mr Kenneth Wong, Manager (Technopreneurial Funding) of ITC.
